I grew up and have lived in the Boston area all my life. I have been taking pictures since I was a child, but didn’t go professional until early 2007. I am a source photographer for Boston Coasters (www.bostoncoasters.com) in Harvard Square, Boston, MA. My pictures are hung on consignment at The Inkwell in Amesbury and The United Front Co. in Revere (both in MA). I currently have have a Halloween show going on until the end of October, 2008. Starting November 1st I will have all now photographs hung. My pictures have appeared in The BostonNow newspaper, New England Sports Magazine, WCAT TV (local television program) and even on a CD cover and publicity photos (for Kyle Davis).
I have no art training, but I wanted a Tarot deck so I drew my own --pencil, colored pencils on index cards, scanned and photoshop smartblurred. I like some of these, others make me say 'yuck' or something similar. But what's gratifying to me despite their crudity is that I persevered and drew the whole deck, the originals of which I use, which took several weeks. Then last yearI began re-'Shopping them, so some look far from the originals now. This one is not to different except for being stretched out of shape..
