The Program Director is the primary leader of Flux artistic programs, chiefly including an Artist-in-Residency, Public Exhibitions & Events, and “Satellite Projects” in partnership with fellow institutions. In the midst of a building sustainability campaign, the Program Director will play a key role in reopening and growing our programs in a promising new phase of Flux’s history.
Most of the Program Director’s time will be spent managing the Residency at our home-base on 29th Street, but you will also play a leadership role in Public Programs and Satellite Projects. The essence of the Flux Residency is sharing space with each other, and so a majority of work hours must be spent in the building, while remote work for certain tasks is appropriate.
