Performa, the internationally acclaimed organization dedicated to live interdisciplinary performance by visual artists, and the Hartwig Art Foundation, which is developing a new museum for contemporary art in Amsterdam, are pleased to announce a new fellowship program that will provide hands-on training for individuals working in contemporary art, new media and performance. The fellowships are part of a recently announced institutional partnership.

Entries can be submitted online from January 16 until April 30 at futuregenerationartprize.org.

The Future Generation Art Prize is a biannual global contemporary art prize to discover, recognise and give long-term support to a future generation of artists. All artists aged from 18 to 35 working in any medium are invited to apply.

The Salzburger Kunstverein is one of central Europe’s leading institutions for contemporary art. We present exhibitions of contemporary art, create engaging encounters with artists, and spur lively discussions about art, art theory, and cultural politics. The historic building “Künstlerhaus,” which is owned by the Salzburger Kunstverein, has three different spaces for exhibitions and houses 22 studios where artists and artist collectives work on site.

Etant donnés Contemporary Art grants are designed in two complementary directions:

–Grants for artistic project up to 30,000 USD for American museums and nonprofit institutions to organize exhibitions, installations, research projects or production projects, featuring French artists or France based artist. This program seeks primarily to introduce visual artists whose works have rarely, if ever, been shown in the United States.

Queer|Art is proud to open applications for two annual grants: The Robert Giard Grant for Emerging LGBTQ+ Photographers and The Barbara Hammer Lesbian Experimental Filmmaking Grant.

The Robert Giard Grant for Emerging LGBTQ+ Photographers supports the creation of work by photographers whose projects address issues of sexuality, gender, or LGBTQ+ identity. With support from The Robert Giard Foundation, the international grant provides an award of $10,000 for the winner, and $1250 for four finalists, to support the creation of new work by emerging LGBTQ+ photographers.
