sundaymorning@ekwc is an internationally renowned ceramic work centre where visual artists, designers, architects and other creative professionals can explore the artistic possibilities of ceramics. This is realised in three ways: through the artist-in-residence program, the centre-of-excellence and the FabLab.
Artist-in-residence program
As an artist-in-residence sundaymorning@ekwc accommodates twelve participants at a time who can experiment with ceramics during a three month work period. We offer you a studio, an apartment and the advice of our expert staff.

Call for Works - Grace Exhibition Space
The only gallery in New York City devoted exclusively to Contemporary Visual
Performance, the Grace Exhibition Space [GES] presents over 30 curated live
performance art exhibitions each year, between February-May and
September-November. Since opening in 2006, GES offers an opportunity to
experience visceral and challenging works by the best of the current
generation of international performance artists. Through discussions,
workshops and live art, GES establishes an environment that supports
KW Institute for Contemporary Art is looking for a chief curator to work at KW for a fixed term of three years, starting on January 1, 2013. The term can be extended for an additional two years.
Job Description
The chief curator's core task is to shape the curatorial profile of KW's future by developing and implementing exhibitions over the course of three years. In addition to this the chief curator will also be involved in all of KW's other activities.
The requirements for application are:
- excellent knowledge of contemporary art and cultural practice
- experience in international organizations or projects focusing on contemporary art
- experience in the organization of extensive exhibition projects
