JUPITER, FLORIDA – October 1, 2011/ -- Light Space & Time Online Art Gallery is pleased to announce that its October 2011 art exhibition is now posted on their website and is ready to view online. The theme for last month’s art competition was “All Photography”. The gallery received submissions from 15 different countries from around the world and they also received entries from 26 different states. Overall, there were 575 entries that were judged. Congratulations to the artists who have been designated as this month’s winners, along with 65 Special Recognition Artists. The congratulations to the artists who received the highest awards for their photography and the gallery commends them for skill and creativity. The grant aims at supporting and opening up the discussions on artistic research to an expanded network through an open call. It encourages innovative approaches to how discourse is staged and how knowledge is produced, rethought and interwoven across disciplines. Without any limitations on the content, the proposed inquiries are expected to suggest new forms and methodologies, by reflecting on contexts and conditions of the knowledge produced.

With the development of the Cyprus College of Art into the Cornaro Institute as a space dedicated to providing studio room for practising visual artists from around the world, we are pleased to announce the launch of the first ever Cornaro Institute Fellowship Programme. Over the years this will develop into one of the main programmes of the Cornaro Institute, but we are looking for pioneers to be the first to walk this path.

In celebration of Marion Davies' support of artists and to further the work of artists in all disciplines, the Division has established an Artist Residency program at the Beach House. The Residency begins Monday, January 16, 2012 and concludes Monday, March 26, 2012 for a total of ten weeks.

The San Marino Gallery is searching for dance groups to perform at its
first annual Los Angeles Art Experience
, a three-day celebration of the
visual and performing arts October 14th – 16th. The event will
feature over 100 masterpieces by the gallery's contemporary
artists, eclectic cuisine and cocktails, and celebrity guests.

Following a grand premiere on Friday night, Saturday and Sunday's
events will include performances throughout the day. Dancers of all
types from throughout Los Angeles are welcome. This is a wonderful
opportunity for your group to be exposed to many prominent Angelinos
who appreciate the performing arts.
