Hope Center for the Arts, a fine arts program for adults with intellectual disabilities, is looking for socially engaged artists across all fine art disciplines: drawing/painting, printmaking, sculpture, video/performance and movement for a unique teaching post working with this very special population.
Qualified applicants will have a strong background in the visual arts (Bachelor's Degree in Art or BFA required, MFA preferred) as well as a passion for working with those with differences. Teaching experience and experience working with this population are also preferred, but not required. Innovative, collaborative and interdisciplinary approaches to making (and teaching) art, as well as an interest in Outsider Art are favored.
