AMP: Artists' Meeting Place and Resource Collective

Anybody familiar with Non Credo will know that love songs are not exactly our forte. Or I guess more specifically they are not my forte. I write the lyrics. That said, Non Credo was asked to contribute a piece to a compilation CD of love songs. Now, of course, this could be interpreted rather loosely. After all, it was for an obscure experimental avant-garde German release…that never got released (we put it out on another compilation). I, of course, wanted to take it literally. What fun!!! A love song!!! I can do that. How hard can it be?

So I'm getting ready to go out and do one of 'those' interviews... one of the biggies... one where the person you're interviewing has so much more experience and knowledge than you do... sigh!

So, once again, a little case of the nerves come in. I know my job, I've got my list of 50 questions, I know my stuff... and yet I'm still sitting here, in my bathrobe, wondering what to wear, what to say, how to greet him.

Little by little New year will be started in Iran.Almost 3 weeks next we will have New year. it is20th march.in this topic I would like to explain about it.well NORUZ , or New year, is the celebration of spring equinox.it is the most cherished of all the Iranian festivals and is celebrated by all.This occasion has been renowned in one from or another by all the major culture of ancient Mesopotamia.what we have today as Noruz with its uniquely Iranian charactristics has been celebrated for at least 3000 years and is deeply rooted in the rituals and traditions of the Zoroastrian belife system in the Sassanid period.

Hey everyone!! Hi. Why dont we put our heads together and do a 5 city on-line art exhibition,

The 5 cities send their pics to their 3 neighboors.
The recipient has to print them on good paper and show them in an appropriate gallery.
We have to all be on line at the same time for the virtual opening
and linked somehow so we can see each other.
We have to have cams to track the show and people at the openings and broadcast it live to all

Can we do it?

I've got a website purveyer who has a very likely gallery in my town
We need cameras, or phones with filming capability
etc etc

And on-line with cams like on MSN Messenger or whatever.

Born 29th march 1966 from Cadiz, Spain, berekekê is a new artis. Composer and musician.
Begin playing the bandurria and after in the School Music Manuel de Falla from Cadiz, piano.

As musician, severals locals bands and pianist in hotels.
As arrangment for theatral music.

But is 2003 his beginning as composer. MIRADORES (Perspectives) is a compliation, nine points of view under three elements: clasical education, electronical tools and love for the world music. Thesse elements are esential in his music and compositions.

This is a short blog simply to express my stress. Being a 'gun for hire', my silver ink sometimes has to write about things that I'm less than passionate about – and I'm stuck in that particular corral today. Its the perrenial complaint, I want to write – but I want to write want I want to write...and that's not always what pays the bills.
So pen in hand, you try and find some magical, mysterious melody of words to put together into something that, if not inspiring, is at least vaguely interesting... and if all else fails, blog!

I'm curious, what do you do when you're doing something you don't particularly want to do?

So my poison is Shakespeare ... can't get enough!

In high school (in South Africa), Shakespeare was pounded into us with numbing repetition. Mostly it was the sonnets, shredded apart by the teacher with the expectation that we were all on the same page.

I catagorically was not!

I hated those classes and the disiplined structure of the work, nothing but a monkey on my back. I rebelled by writing nasty sonnets and friends joined me in writing limericks about our teachers. Once, I turned in one of these sonnets and was summarily whipped, or "caned" to be more precise.
