FREE June RESIDENCY for Filmmaker/Small format visual artist at SPLICE
Located in the small southern New Mexican town of Truth or Consequences (along the Rio Grande), SPLICE provides a tranquil environment for you to concentrate full time on your art: a sleep/work space and separate bathroom & kitchenette. For this month in June the residency is offered gratis in exchange for tending to Squeak, house mascot, while the proprietress is away part of the month on film adventures.
Truth or Consequences has natural hot springs, numerous hiking trails, a large lake and a burgeoning music community. The traditional home of Chiricahua Chihendé Apache, the town is located halfway between Albuquerque and El Paso.
