Introduction
University of London's Central School of Speech and Drama
is auditioning in the US for its three-year, full-time undergraduate courses,
and its one-year full-time/two-year part-time postgraduate courses.
The Central School of Speech and Drama is one of the UK's pre-eminent training centres for drama. By joining Central, students elect to join an alumni group that includes Laurence Oliver, Judi Dench, Harold Pinter, Cameron Mackintosh, Gael Garcia Bernal and Carrie Fisher. Students are taught by distinguished practitioners in the industry; follow highly-specialist courses; and have access to brand-new high-spec facilities.
The 9th annual Kulov Tea Festival, a major event on the WestSide of Los Angeles, attracting hundreds of
visitors, is looking for scenes or acts that complement this year's theme: Alice in
Wonderland/England. We are looking for short scenes, or comedy acts, or dance pieces that
can be part of an hour-long performance during the festival. Great exposure, and a
wonderful way to showcase your work, meet other artists, and become acquainted with the
thriving Venice artistic community.
If your company is already working on a British comedy, or if you'd like to play around with
some zany material, please contact Thea Mercouffer at 310-383-8763. For more
