Plein-air painting became popular in the 19th century, first used by the Impressionist painters when paint was available in tube form and artists were able to take their canvases and easels outside. Painting their surrounding environment, artists were able to step out into the fresh air and be inspired by Mother Nature. This exhibition of contemporary Plein Air painting will be an amazing display of light and landscape that is sure to awaken the senses
Due to popular demand an extra session of Adult Oil Painting classes has been added! This class is $75.00, 3 classes on July 12, 19 and 26 (Tuesday evenings from 6:30-9pm) all materials, paint and canvas supplied. Please call 714-990-7731 if you are interested in signing up!
