The Ford Theatres seeks a strong writer with an arts background to author blog entries about the Ford Theatres in Hollywood, including renovation and off-site arts activities. Ideal candidate will be curious about the diverse communities of Los Angeles, knowledgeable about the performing arts and able to write in an engaging, casual first-person style.

Blog assignments might include artist interviews, performance previews, neighborhood profiles, Ford history highlights, theater construction updates and reflections upon participatory arts engagement. The initial project period is April through October of 2015, covering eight blog posts. Compensation is $200 per 700 word post. Experience writing for a blog is preferred but not necessary. Reliable transportation required.
