AMP: Artists' Meeting Place and Resource Collective

The WorldFest 2013 Earth Day Festival will be held at the beautiful outdoor setting of Woodley Park in Lake Balboa, CA. We are looking for volunteers to join us for a magnificent day filled with entertainment, education and enlightenment. The combination of great music, empowering speakers, environmental, humanitarian and animal welfare non-profits, kids' activities and a delicious food court make for an earth-friendly experience that is sure to be inspiring and enjoyable for all. WorldFest is proud to announce it's inaugural art exhibition focusing on the concept, "The Message of Worldfest".

We are looking for volunteers in the following areas:

1. Decor and festival design: Looking for artists and designers to join the Art team to decorate various area around the festival. We are using reclaimed and recycled materials as well as repurposing materials. Those who enjoy creating and suspending materials for festival patrons are encouraged to contact me.

2. Art Avenue construction: Looking for help with putting up the new art area, including putting up the walls, decorating the space, and hanging art.

3. Art Avenue Docents: Assisting those coming to the artist section, by greeting patrons of WorldFest and keeping an eye on the art.

4. Deconstruction: Help with disassembling the various art and decor of the festival and neatly folding it for next year's use.

Those who come volunteer gets to partake in the very fun afterparty, gets a WorldFest t-shirt, and gets free admission to the festival.
