AMP: Artists' Meeting Place and Resource Collective

Hope University, a fine arts program for adults with developmental disabilities, is seeking a person with a strong visual art background to teach art. We work with colored pencils, watercolor, acrylic, pastels, collage, printmaking, mosaic, and papier mache. We also create fine crafts. Ideal candidate has strengths in drawing, painting and printmaking; may have an artistic specialty of their own to offer our clients; is compassionate and understanding; can bring out the best in an artist with disabilities. Experience working with people with disabilities is not required, but is a definite plus. This may be a part-time or full-time position, rate of pay commensurate with experience.
