M.D responsibilities:

Musical Director will handle all things musical (harmony, melody, rhythm, dynamics, arranging, etc.) and will have the final say in the aural aspects of a song's performance.
Specifically this means working side by side with the Director when running rehearsals, directing during performances, making decisions about sets and arrangements, and making sure we sound the best we can.

MD will always have a large voice in what we ultimately sound like.
MD will act as or help find the arranger/song director/ conductor. Attend production meetings
Assist the production team in finding musicians. Provide musical accompaniment, or assist in locating someone to fill this role during audition process, call backs, and rehearsals.

Pay: $800.00.

"SPIDEY PROJECT" details
West coast premier of "The Spidey Project", 2nd run ever.
Run time: approximately one hour

Audition dates: Jan 16, 17- callbacks on 18th
Opening March 9th (Friday) at studio stage on Western. http://www.studio-stage.com/
Rehearsals tentatively set to begin January 21st, though this will depend on MD and casting.
7 weeks max rehearsals with a 6 week run. Rehearsal times will also depend on MD and casting but will be at night. Show times will more than likely be: Thur, Fri, Sat- but we are toying with Fri/ 2 show Saturday run.
