Downtown Los Angeles, and is starting a residency program for theatre,
immersive experiences, and performance artists. To create a program that
achieves maximum sustainability and artistic excellence, we've created a

When: 14 weeks between August 10-November 16, 2016

About: The Camera Obscura Studio Artist Residency program connects the public with artists and artisans working within and between the worlds of fine art and craft. Artists-in-residence share their work with the public informally and through weekly workshops and a culminating presentation. This residency offers access to a multipurpose studio with a spectacular ocean view in an iconic midcentury park building overlooking the Pier. Parking and a $1500 honorarium is provided.

International writers, playwrights, visual artists, fiber artists, filmmakers, photographers, new media artists, dancers and musicians are all welcome to apply for a 1-month residency.
