"Latin visual passion" is the theme of a poster design competition open to students, academics and designers in Latin America. Deadline: May 29, 2009.

The competition is organized by Foro de Escuelas de Dise€ ¦ño, which gathers more than 200 design academics in Latin America, Spain, and Portugal. Its goal is to value the perspective of Latin American designers.

The best poster will receive US$2,000.

Entries must meet the requirements: 29.7 cm x 42 cm vertical, JPG digital format, and 150 dpi resolution. Files must not exceed 5 MB.

DEADLINE FOR INSCRIPTION: May 31, 2009

We invite directors of all ages to submit your children and youth
productions and participate in the 13th edition of the Barcelona
International Television Festival (FITB) to be held November 16- 19, 2009
from 10 a.m. to 13 p.m. and from 15p.m. to 18p.m., with the closing ceremony
the 20th.

As always we are interested in documentaries, animations, TV programmes and
series from around the World that form, entertain and educate. There is no
entry fee and we offer the prestigious UNICEF PRIZE and CREATIVE PRIZE.
