This is a unique opportunity to join our internationally renowned Curatorial Department, responsible for creating and presenting an extensive programme of exhibitions, collection displays and commissions along with film and performance events at Tate Modern. As a senior member of the team you'll play a pivotal role in one of the art world's most exciting developments: Transforming Tate Modern (TTM). Led by the Chief Curator, this groundbreaking project is dedicated towards the expansion of Tate Modern, attracting new, diverse audiences and seeing its gallery space double in size.

On 9 November 2007, the German parliament, the Bundestag, decided that the Federal Republic of Germany will erect a Memorial to Freedom and Unity in remembrance of the peaceful revolution in the autumn of 1989 and the reinstatement of Germany's national unity.

The Memorial to Freedom and Unity is to be erected as a national symbol in the centre of the German capital. Its meaning and effect are to be reflected in its form and design.

The chosen location for the future Monument to Freedom and Unity is the plinth of the former national monument to Kaiser Wilhelm I. on the so-called "Schlossfreiheit" in Berlin-Mitte.

The 'Concrete Geometeries' Research Cluster at the Architectural Association School of Architecture in London is seeking submissions of work from the fields of art, architecture, sciences and humanities that explore the intimate relationship between between spatial form and human processes - be they social or aesthetic - and the variety of new material entities this relationship might provoke.

CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS

The Summer 2010 Showcase is open and accepting submissions. As a reminder, all subjects, styles, and media are welcome. Challenge, explore, push boundaries! The winning submission will receive $500 (USD) and is determined by creative vision, innovation, potential to engage an audience, presentation (i.e. quality of the images submitted), and overall impression.
