The Seventh Annual Indian Film Festival of Los Angeles (IFFLA) seeks
narrative, documentary, music videos, experimental, children's and
animated films of any length and format.
IFFLA will run from April 21-26, 2009 at ArcLight Hollywood, a
state-of-the-art facility located in the heart of Los Angeles. Jury
and Audience Choice Prizes will be awarded for Best Feature,
Documentary and Short film.
IFFLA 2008 had over 7,000 attendees and screened about 40 films from
India and around the world. In addition to the high-quality

Angeles film industry.
Films previously premiered at the festival include AMAL (Richie
Mehta), FROZEN (Shivajee Chandrabhushan), WATER (Deepa Mehta), VANAJA
(Rajnesh Domalpalli), BLACK FRIDAY (Anurag Kashyap), A PECK ON THE
CHEEK (Mani Rathnam), HARI OM (Bharatbala), CHOKER BALI (Rituparno
Ghosh), A TALE OF A NAUGHTY GIRL (Buddhadeb Dasgupta), and MR. AND
