International film festival to be held in Egypt

Egypt’s Ministry of Culture invites filmmakers to participate in the 12th Ismailia International Film Festival for documentary and short films. The deadline to apply to participate is June 15, and films are to be submitted before August 1.

The festival aims to promote intercultural dialogue while supporting and encouraging filmmakers of documentary and short films. The festival accepts short and long documentaries, experimental short films and animations. To be eligible, films must have been produced between 2007 and 2008.
