Arab filmmakers invited to take part in film festival in U.S.

Arab filmmakers have the chance to take part in the 12th Annual Arab Film Festival (AFF), to be held October 9 to 19 in San Francisco and Los Angeles, California. The last day to submit works is April 15.
According to organizers, the AFF provides “a unique venue for Arab filmmakers to screen their work, meet other filmmakers and make connections for future projects.” Submissions can be features, documentaries, experimental works, short films and animations.

Submission is free of charge. All films must have been completed after January 1, 2006, and not have been shown before in San Francisco or Los Angeles. Films should be sent to: Arab Film Festival, Submissions Department, 300 Brannan Street, Suite 508, San Francisco, CA 94107.
