Nazariya is an initiative of DRISHTI Media, Arts & Human Rights to
introduce alternative perceptions into our society by screening
documentaries and short films that reflect a broader reality of the
people in our society. Nazariya acknowledges the possibility of
another point of view, another version of truth, another way of
viewing. Nazariya is an attempt to reach out to newer unreached
audiences through films. The principal objective of the non-
competitive Nazariya Film Festival for Peace is to promote and
encourage awareness, appreciation and understanding of peace though
