TROYANO (www.t-r-o-y-a-n-o.cl) is an artist collective from Chile that formed in 2005 to do interdisciplinary research on art and digital culture. On May 24th at TELIC Arts Exchange, TROYANO’s members will discuss their past projects that made possible their recent publication. TROYANO’s members are Alejandro Albornoz, Ignacio Nieto, Italo Tello and Ricardo Vega.
"The Latency of the Moving Image in New Media" purposefully overlaps the presentation by TROYANO collective on Art and Digital Culture. The exhibit in combination with the talk are meant to provide a space for critical reflection on the ongoing development of media culture. Artists include Corey Eiseman, Gustavo Romano, Arcangel Constantini, Yann Le Guennec, Jorge Castro, Antonio Mendoza, Katherine Sweetman, Fuss!, Brian Mackern, Julia Masvernat.
Near the end of the exhibition, AAAARG.ORG presents an open conversation about latency with Eduardo Navas. Relevant texts will be posted to http://aaaarg.org/category/latency. The date and time of this conversation are to be announced.
