There are still a few spaces open for featured art participants and vendors. The theme is empathy and how it relates to Justice, with an emphasis on examining, through the arts, our relationship to non-humans ("animals") and also our relationships to each other as humans - and how issues and concerns overlap in both these spheres.

While we are a vegan advocacy organization and active animal rescue and this is in small part a fundraiser for our organization, we pay a participation stipend based on what the participation would be (and number of people), and can cover food and transportation. We are focusing on featuring hyper local artists primarily, with a small number coming from New York City.

This is a vegan event (vegan food and products and art featured) but also intersectional, and anyone doing work that examines empathy, speciesism, the environment and issues of justice across a spectrum of concerns is invited to take part.

Video and promo graphic are below. Web page on our website will be uploaded this week. If anyone is interested in having their art, music, poetry, dance featured, they should reach out to myself (Rebecca) via this email address: weheartanimalsxo@gmail.com

We also have some (free) vendor spots open for artists & makers (all items being sold have to be vegan.)

Proceeds from this sliding scale entry event go to the three non-profits who are producing the event, with a raffle raising funds for two charities. Details to be posted on our website shortly.

Thank you and best regards....

Sincerely,

Rebecca
