Manhattan Beach Arts Center is currently seeking passionate and qualified
part-time instructors to submit class and workshop proposals for our Youth,
Teen, Adult, and Family Programs for Summer 2016 Workshops and Autumn 2016
Classes. Join us!
Proposals could include: One Time teaser Workshops, Mystery Workshop
Proposals, or 8-week classes for our Fall 2016 sessions.
If you are a dynamic, positive, professional instructor itching to teach,
we encourage you to submit your proposal!
Ideal candidates should be experienced, confident instructors who love
their field of interest, love teaching, and LOVE students!
Please submit the following information for your proposal:
1. Contact Information: Name, Address, Phone, email
2. Details About Your Artistic Practice
• A brief bio
• Your current teaching resume
• Three references
3. Media
• Weblink to your art work / performance and link to your past students’
work.
4. Full Proposal
• Title, class description and learning goals for your proposed
workshop/class.
• Proposed ages of students for the workshop and class and minimum and
maximum number of students per class.
• Class materials fee or materials list for students.
• Availability, preferred days and times to teach, and class duration.
• Information regarding specific support needs, such as:
• Required square-feet of space
• Chairs, tables, stools, use of mirrors, sink, piano, or sound system
• Silence in the art center during your class
