The Division of Art in the Meadows School of the Arts at Southern Methodist University (SMU) invites nominations and applications for a Senior Lecturer in Photography, commencing August 2016.
Minimum qualifications: Must possess an MFA in art with concentration or equivalent in photography, a record of exhibitions as an artist, and experience teaching at the university level. Must also be proficient in both black-and-white darkroom techniques and digital photographic processes.
Preferred qualifications: An understanding of contemporary art and theory and the history of photography; a demonstration of an artistic practice and/or teaching that integrates photography with any of the following areas: film/video, sculpture, installation, or printmaking.
