CCI ANNOUNCES NEW ARC GRANT PROGRAM
Focus on First-time Grantees
Deadline: April 29, 2013

CCI is pleased to announce the extension of the ARC program for a final five rounds of funding in 2013 and 2014, to support individual artists in Los Angeles who have not previously received an ARC grant.

Since being launched by The Durfee Foundation in 2000, the ARC program has funded a total of 570 artists working in all disciplines. Because we know that ARC grants have played a critical role in helping so many artists to get their work out to the public, Durfee and CCI have determined that the final five rounds of ARC will be focused on artists who have not yet received an ARC grant.

ARC grants provide rapid, short-term assistance to individual artists residing in Los Angeles County who wish to enhance work for a specific, imminent opportunity that may significantly benefit their careers. Artists in any discipline are eligible to apply. The applicant must already have secured an invitation from an established arts organization to present the proposed work. The work must be scheduled for presentation within six months of the application deadline. Second Quarter applications must be submitted by 6pm on April 29, 2013.

You can view the new ARC Program Guidelines for 2013 here: http://www.cciarts.org/arc.htm?utm_source=ARC+deadline+announcement+Mar2...

We would also like to note that all previous ARC grantees are now preapproved to fundraise for their artistic projects on the USA Projects website. You can take advantage of this option by registering online at: www.usaprojects.org.
