Full-Time/Salaried/Exempt/Benefits EligiblePOSITION SUMMARY
The Audience Services Manager is responsible for ensuring that all
patrons attending EWP events have an excellent experience from point of
purchase through attending performances; in addition, this position
maintains minimal office administrative management (Patron Manager
ticketing system, internet, phone systems, copier, etc.) in relation to
the customer experience.
TRAITS AND CHARACTERISTICS
East West Players, a non-profit Asian American arts organization, seeks
a committed, proactive, and diplomatic thinker providing excellent
customer service to our patrons. This individual will possess a passion
for Asian American issues and knowledge of potential community groups,
schools, and other potential groups bringing people together across
community lines. Interpersonal skills must be exceptional. He/She must
independently initiate and pursue objectives in an organized and
efficient manner, prioritizes activities, maintain levels of activity
without direct supervision and maximizes team interaction to complete
high quality work on time.

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum 3 years box office and house management experience with
excellent communication skills. Knowledge and experience with Asian
American theatre is very helpful. Knowledge of Patron Manager helpful
but not necessary though computer and other office equipment skills are
necessary. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a
participatory leadership style in working collaboratively with artistic
personnel, staff and volunteers required. Must be able to multi-task
efficiently, work under high stress situations, and meet deadlines in
fast paced environment.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
Compensation is commensurate with experience for non-profit arts
organization. Competitive based on experience, plus a comprehensive
benefits plan including medical, dental, vision and life insurance;
vacation, sick leave, personal and holidays.
