AMP: Artists' Meeting Place and Resource Collective

The Colburn School located in downtown Los Angeles has an immediate opening for an Associate for Student Advancement to support a wide range of activities for both the Director of Community Engagement and Continuing Education and the Director of Artistic Administration and Career Development. Performs administrative duties relating to management of young performing artists, servicing guest artists' contracts, developing and maintaining career development offerings, and coordinating student performances off campus. Incumbent will support external engagement activities of the Colburn School including adult studies.

Bacholors degree in Music, Arts Management or Humanities is required. Combined experience/education may be substituted for minimum education. Master's degree a plus. Prior administrative experience supporting a fast-paced environment and/or event logistics desirable. Desire to manage office functions and bring creative thinking to an entrepreneurial environment within an academic setting is essential. Must have excellent communication, organizational and problem-solving skills. Spoken Spanish a plus.
