This full-time position at e-flux in New York includes a high volume of copyediting, fact-checking, and basic HTML formatting towards the production and distribution of all e-flux announcements. The Announcement Designer is responsible for adhering to and enforcing the in-house style guide by consistently formatting and proofreading press materials and preparing them for international circulation.

The ideal candidate for this position will have proven experience and a high degree of interest in international, advanced contemporary art and web design/production. Fluency in manual HTML coding, Wordpress CMS systems, Photoshop, Mac operating system is required. An eye for precision and detail is absolutely essential, as is the ability to be flexible and to work under extremely tight deadlines. The ideal candidate should be self-directed, and good at practical problem solving. Familiarity with international art institutions, artists, and galleries is essential, as is availability to begin immediately. International applicants must have a working visa for the US. Salary is commensurate with experience.
