The Autry seeks a Part Time Visitor Services & Membership Ambassador.
The Ambassador helps tocreate a memorable and enjoyable experience for
all Autry visitors by providingpositive and engaging customer service.
Tasks include processing admissions,encouraging museum membership,
disseminating event and exhibit information, andbalancing daily
admissions sales. This position requires strong interpersonaland
organizational skills.
Work hours will include weekends and may include anadditional day during
the week.
Candidates must enjoy interacting with the public andshould have an
interest in cultural history. Ideal candidates will have:
- Two or more years college coursework completed orequivalent work
experience
- One or more years of providing superior customerservice in a similar
environment
- One or more years of cash-handling experience;experience in admissions
and/or membership sales is a plus
- Demonstrated proficiency with data entry tasks andknowledge of
database systems
- Dependable attendance and punctuality is a must
