AMP: Artists' Meeting Place and Resource Collective

Small, but quickly growing theater company is seeking one experienced STAGE MANAGER/PRODUCTION ASSISTANT for an outdoor, interactive theater and Gala event at a residence in Santa Monica this weekend. Candidate MUST be available Friday Nov 18 from 3-9, Saturday Nov 19 from 9-9, and Sunday Nov 20 from 9-9 with lunch and dinner breaks. Duties will include wrangling a group of 15 actors and musicians; assisting with setting up lights (both practical and theatrical), props; assisting the Event Director; running errands; writing and managing task lists; collaborating with Event designer (possible opportunity for some design work); coordinating with the Kitchen Manager and Front-of-House on Event flow for an audience of approximately 125 at a unique, site-specific event in a historic building. Candidate must be very experienced, a hard worker, good at troubleshooting, resourceful, personable, proactive and love the theater. Some heavy lifting.

Stipend is $150 for the weekend, with meals. West-side candidates preferred. The right person will work with us again.
