Pot! The Musical is the story about a young girl named "Sweetie" and her journey as a non-pot smoker to discovering her life purpose as various dominating characters parade through her life on both sides of the spectrum. Whether you are for or against pot it's a musical comedy that uses laughter to bring to light the circus created by society's ignorance and discrimination against one of nature's most miraculous plants.

Seeking Actors who can sing and dance, and have experience in sketch comedy or improvisation. Especially seeking actors who can play a musical instrument. Professional behavior will be expected during rehearsals and performances. **All ethnicities encouraged to audition.

**FEMALE ROLES:
SWEETIE : Lead 20's-30's
MOM: 40's-60's
POTHEAD GIRL: 20's-40's
CHURCH GIRL: 20's-40's

**MALE ROLES:
RAZZ: 20's – 30's *must be able to handle 2 page monologue a la Jack Kerouc
SID: 30's-late 40's
REVEREND: 30's-70's, slight southern accent a plus
MR. LUNG: 50's-70's

All roles with be double cast with following roles.

AUDITIONS @ Electric Lodge - JANUARY 9th 2010 from 2-6PM. Please prepare a 1 minute contemporary comedic monologue, and a 1 minute song to be sung a cappella or self-accompanied on an instrument you provide. Audition slots will be given by email. There will be no monitor; this is a producer run audition.
