"Feral Children, Phantom Food Chains and other (Super) Natural Phenomena"

Hello friends. Just wanted to let you know that I'm having an exhibition of my paintings in the Highland Park district of LA in the extremely cool Cafe De Leche at 5000 York Blvd (cross street Avenue 50). The exhibition is up now and will be there till July 9th. This is a selection from my work, some old, some brand new (the first two in my Feral Children series). Hope to see you there!

REALITY PLAYINGS -- JUNE 26th in Oakland, CA

Reality Playings, June 2009

... the war on art, music, culture, and people getting together continues! The Temescal is facing a $1,000 fine if it gets one more complaint. Yuppies have moved into the neighborhood! There is a pizza joint next door which is much louder... But...

So come to the series while you still can!

instant karma

So two weeks ago our computer crashed at work, it has taken this long to get a new one installed. While I was rather daunted (in my own unique paranoid way) by the idea of probably losing 8 months or one year's worth of art and manuscripts, Amy was strangely calm and cool and collected.

"We'll make more!" She said.

I have to admit, her attitude calmed me to a certain extent, but I continued to fret until last night. My boss (formerly our techie until it was out-sourced) managed to transfer everything (amounting to hundreds of images) to his computer. In a day or two I'll transfer everything to discs (like I told Amy I needed to do about three weeks ago).

All hail to Satan (my boss)!
