LATE introduces SCRIPTYARD - a monthly reading series dedicated to the celebration of works by Los Angeles playwrights.
The LATE is looking for work that is original, exciting, and expands our horizons, which is to say, we want to be moved- to tears, to laughter, to a fresh perspective… and we're not afraid of "new". As long as it's got a great story, we want to read it. We are particularly interested in plays with big casts. (Musicals are okay too)
Playwrights interested in working with the LATE Script Yard should submit a cover letter, play synopsis, character breakdown, statement of play's development history, and the first 15-pages of their script to scriptyard@latensemble.com
Response time is approx. 2-3 months.
