ITINERANT, the annual Performance Art Festival NYC, invites artists to submit works for consideration in its upcoming program taking place May 13 - 21, 2017. This year’s festival will focus on works that treat notions of human displacement, pilgrimage, physical dislocations, psychological migrations, and corporeal transportations. Artists working in contemporary performance art, visual performance art, transmedia art (sound, video and emerging technologies), and movement based practices are encouraged to apply.

ITINERANT 2017 will be presented in the following venues: The Last Frontier (Opening Night, May 13), Socrates Sculpture Park (Outdoor Performances, May 14), the Bronx Museum of the Arts (May 15), Panoply Performance Laboratory (May 16), Grace Exhibition Space (May 19), Queens Museum (May 20), Flushing Meadows Park (Closing event and outdoor public interventions, May 21).
